The special processing of the sealing surfaces enables dry operation and prevents premature wear even at high speeds. A labyrinth seal ensures effective protection of the ball bearings against possible leakage. The silicon carbide sealing surfaces ensure high wear resistance and high thermal shock resistance. The use of high-precision angular contact ball bearings, the spring located outside the fluid, the optimal compensation of the sealing surfaces and the internal flow area reduce vibrations, friction torque and pressure losses to a minimum.
